Taxes represent a significant expense for a small business and for individuals. It is our goal to implement tax strategies that will minimize this expenditure. 

Tax planning plays a vital role in meeting this goal. We contact all our clients before the year-end to determine if any planning can be implemented to save taxes. Once the tax year closes, very little can be done to save tax dollars. In addition, we want our clients to know what taxes may be due April 15th. Finding out that you owe $50,000 on April 15th is not a pleasant surprise, when there is very little that can then be done about it.

For clients that use Quickbooks® we use your data file as a starting point.  We take this data and review transactions for any problem areas and make appropriate accounting adjustments.  With our experience with Quickbooks, we can identify problem areas quickly and recommend changes for your future accounting entries.  Once we complete the return we will request another back-up file so that we can post our adjustments to your working file and return it to you. It is important that your data file agrees to the filed tax returns and financial statements. Normally, this process is accomplished via email.
